Join us on Thursday 22nd June for our UK Pride In Weston Movie Night, featuring the 2014 movie Pride, directed by Matthew Warchus. The screening will start at 7:30pm at Weston Odeon, doors open at 7pm. We have some surprise guests from the movie for an exclusive meet & greet with the audience! This is a free event but spaces are limited, please book your place using the form below. Over 15's only, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
PRIDE is inspired by an extraordinary true story. It's the summer of 1984, Margaret Thatcher is in power and the National Union of Mineworkers is on strike, prompting a London-based group of gay and lesbian activists to raise money to support the strikers' families. Initially rebuffed by the Union, the group identifies a tiny mining village in Wales and sets off to make their donation in person.
