FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Do you need tickets?
    Pride in Weston is a ticketed event, click here for tickets. You can purchase tickets on the gate but spaces may be limited. Under 5's go free.
  • I have already bought my ticket online, do I need to print it?
    You can print your tickets or have your e-ticket ready to show on your mobile device for scanning.
  • Will bags be searched?
    In the interests of safety you may be searched if deemed appropriate.
  • What time does it start and end?
    On Saturday we will be celebrating in Grove Park from 12pm until 9pm. Quiet hour will take place between 11am - 12pm during the Parade.
  • Is it a family friendly event?
    Yes. Pride is for everyone with one and all encouraged to enjoy the celebration. We have a dedicated kids area and under 5's go free!
  • What arrangements are there for people with disabilities?
    Grove Park has a mostly flat surface accessible to wheelchair users and a dedicated viewing platform to ensure the best time with the ease of access. If you require support do not hesitate to ask at the gate and a member of the team will assist you if needed. Free entry for carers and support workers.
  • Can you bring your own alcohol?
    No. There is reasonably priced bar on site serving alcoholic beverages throughout the day. No exceptions.
  • What food and drink will be available?
    A wide range of food and drink will be available on site, including alcoholic beverages, soft drinks and food, with vegetarian options and dietary requirements.
  • Can you leave the site and re-enter?
    Yes, although once the venue reaches capacity, organisers will use a one-in-one-out queuing system.
  • Where can you park?
    There is no dedicated parking, but we would advise using public transport to get into town as it is likely to be busier than usual.
  • Is there a parade this year?
    Yes! The #ProudToBe Parade will kick off from Knightstone Island at 11am so be sure to be there beforehand so you can be shown to your designated area. We will march along the seafront, turning left at the Grand Pier then make our way through the High Street towards the main Pride in Weston sire at Grove Park.   • Are dogs allowed?
    Yes you can bring your pooches as long as they are kept on a lead and cleaned up after. Water is available from the help desk, please bring your own bowl.
